Senior Accountant

The team is dedicated to providing expert financial services to a diverse client base, and they are looking for a talented Senior Accountant to join us.

• Preparing and reviewing accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
• Handling VAT, corporation tax, and self-assessment tax returns.
• Managing accounts payable processes, invoice verification, and payment processing.
• Responding to client queries and liaising with HMRC.
• Conducting monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Utilising accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and IRIS.

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or within an accountancy practice.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and processes.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients.
• Proficiency in IRIS or similar software is advantageous.
• Preferably ACCA or ACA qualified/part-qualified with a drive to progress further.
• A valid UK driving license is preferred.
