- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team on project-related activities.
- Assist in and coordinate activities testing new product developments, evaluating prototypes, developing and validating test methods, and maintaining lab book records.
- In addition, the role will include some involvement in production trials. Participating in a hand assembly of trial/pilot batches of medical products and potentially some visits to manufacturing sites.
- Working in Ebbw Vale.
- You will have a technical background and, ideally have experience working in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Chemistry or Life Sciences qualification, A level or degree or similar.
- Knowledge of test systems, preferably in vitro systems, ideally physical/analytical testing of materials & prototypes
- Knowledge of materials used in the medical field, especially wound care, would be an advantage but not essential.
- Computer and math literate, e.g. use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Salary £23,000 - £25,231 is a full-time equivalent.
