My client is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts and Payroll Assistant to join their team.
The role will include maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
As a Payroll/Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day financial operations of our organisation.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll.
- Gradually learn and undertake various accounting tasks.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data.
- Maintain payroll records and employee information.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documents.
- Provide administrative support to the accounts department.
- Addressing client queries with HMRC
- Managing the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Compiling personal tax computations and returns
- Provision of bookkeeping and management accounting services
- Maintenance of up-to-date accounting records for clients
- Preparation of annual accounts and corporation tax returns
This is an office based role working 37.5 hours per week - Monday- Friday working between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm
