Logistics Coordinator
Location - Edenbridge, Kent
Salary - £26,500 - £29,750 per annum DOE
Hours - Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00

Our client designs, manufactures, and assembles a variety of products that are sold nationwide. Established for over 40 years, they are well respected within their field
Responsibilities for the role of Assembly Operative
- Booking and co-ordination of UK and Overseas logistics in and outbound
- Packaging of goods for safe onward shipment in cartons or on pallets
- Be involved in the preparation of domestic & export documentation
- Contact clients to confirm and update logistics arrangements
- Helping with the loading shipments
Specification for the role of Assembly Operative
- A minimum of 1 year’s work experience in operations, understanding export documentation
- Must be able to work alongside others as part of a team
- Ideally will hold a counterbalance forklift licence
- Must have experience in an electro/mechanical work setting
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise between multiple tasks
- Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Will have strong IT skills in MS Office
- Great team player & willing to get involved in all areas of the business when needed
- Physically fit enough to work in a role where the vast majority of the day is standing and requires some lifting
