Here at Delta Personnel, we are looking for a Facilities Operative / Handy Man to work within a busy friendly Warehouse and Production environment located in Edenbridge, Kent.
We have an immediate start!
The Individual would be responsible and efficient in performing general maintenance and odd jobs around the site. Would be responsible for ensuring the site operates smoothly and kept in good working condition. Your team will be responsible for the general upkeep and all maintenance required.
The role offered is a 13-week Temporary to Permanent contract.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the safety and quality of facilities by monitoring, inspecting and repairing.
• Internal, external and grounds maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
• Deal with emergencies and unplanned problems.
• Fit new parts and ensure equipment is working correctly.
• Ability to use various types of handheld tooling, equipment and machinery.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Good communication skills. We be required to liaise with various departments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, report incidents, and help maintain a safe working environment.
The ideal candidate would have one or more of the following experiences. Facilities, maintenance, handy man or general builder.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm
£14.00 Per Hour
