As the Senior Buyer for this pioneering electronics manufacturer, you will be joining a talented team committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation and development in electronic technology.

As the company launches into their next chapter of expansion, you’ll manage the supply chain and procurement activities within a state-of-the-art new business unit with a strong focus on growth in the Aerospace industry, actively implementing efficient and effective sourcing and category management strategies in a collaborative and exciting environment.

Senior Buyer Responsibilities

• Ensure supplier contracts align with corporate objectives and develop purchasing policies.
• Plan and manage procurement schedules and perform hands-on material planning.
• Oversee demand planning, expedite operations, and ensure timely supplier deliveries.
• Work with cross-functional teams and assist in negotiation strategies for cost-effective deals.
• Optimise sourcing procedures, perform cost analysis, estimate risks, and ensure compliance.

Senior Buyer Skills & Experience Required

• CIPS qualified or pursuing qualification.
• Experience as a Buyer in the electronics industry, including PCBs and components.
• Aerospace sector supply chain/procurement experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Knowledge of AS/EN9100 / 9120, capable of developing procurement policies and procedures.
