Our client operates in the Hospitality & Events industry. They are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team based in Edgware (fully on-site role, parking on-site).

Duties will include:

  • Performing financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
  • Perform month-end accounting activities such as productions of management accounts, reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
  • Generate financial reports and statements for management to review.
  • Analyse financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
  • Monitor expenditures, analyse revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.
  • Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion.
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
  • Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
  • Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
  • Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Part qualified ACCA or CIMA or equivalent
  • Able to work 5 days a week in Edgware
  • 3+ years' finance experience
