Your Role

As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a child with Autism in the reception class.
  • Assist with classroom activities, sensory play, and tailored interventions.
  • Foster a positive, supportive relationship that builds confidence and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the child's needs are met effectively.
  • Be a patient, proactive, and understanding presence in the classroom.
