Our client is seeking a skilled Fibre Splicer/Tester for 1-2 shifts next week to test fibre speed and connection on London Underground infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing precise fibre splicing tasks to ensure optimal connectivity
- Fault finding and testing Fibre
- Documenting the results of fibre splice and test activities
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to support network connectivity
- Adhering to safety standards and protocols at all times
Job Requirements:
- Experience in fibre splicing and testing within the rail communication sector
- Proficient in fibre splice and test techniques
- Experience using Multimode equipment on Fibre
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in fibre optics and railway infrastructure - ECS and LU/ICI
