Block Manager – Edgware, LondonLocation: Edgware, LondonSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year (commensurate with experience)Job Type: Full-time About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Block Manager to join a growing and dynamic residential block management firm in Edgware, London. This company is committed to delivering an exceptional level of service to its clients and is looking for a dedicated professional to take full ownership of their own diverse portfolio of residential blocks. For the right candidate, IRPM qualifications are desirable but not essential as full support will be provided to achieve professional accreditation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management: Handle daily client enquiries and issues, ensuring a swift and effective resolution.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to oversee contractor works and ensure high property standards.
  • Service Charge Budgets: Assist in preparing and issuing accurate service charge budgets.
  • Financial Liaison: Work closely with the internal accounts team to monitor payments and service charge collections.
  • Section 20 Works: Support the team in managing major works projects under Section 20 legislation.
  • Meetings & Compliance: Attend AGMs, resident meetings, and liaise with leaseholders, freeholders, and contractors.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all properties adhere to current Health & Safety regulations.
Key Skills & Experience Required: ? Proven experience in residential block management (essential)? Strong written and verbal communication skills? Excellent customer service skills – dedicated to delivering high standards? Attention to detail and problem-solving ability? Ability to work independently and as part of a team? Understanding of service charge budgets and financial management? Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in property management? Full UK driving licence preferred What’s in It for You?
