About the role:

• Provide tailored support for students with complex needs, ensuring they engage fully in a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Assist in planning and delivering lessons that are differentiated to meet the unique learning needs of each student.
• Help create a safe, structured classroom environment that promotes emotional and behavioural regulation.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs, encouraging progress and active participation.
• Build strong, positive relationships with students to foster trust and motivate positive behaviour.
• Collaborate closely with other staff members and external specialists to offer holistic support for students' academic and personal development.

The ideal candidate must:

• Have the right to work within the UK
• Previous experience working in a school setting is essential
• DBS registered on the update system or willing to obtain one
• Comfortable and flexible in diverse learning environments.
• Previous experience working in a classroom setting, supporting children with complex needs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively.
• Marking and lesson planning are vital to this role
