Job Purpose- Provide high level oversight of a busy audit function, providing effective communication on all aspects of audit compliance across the firm.
- Review hot and cold audit and assurance files.
- Identify new audit guidance and processes in line with the ever-evolving auditing standards, emerging trends, relevant issues, and review findings.
- Manage relationships with external audit reviewers.
- Lead liaison with the ICAEW on audit compliance matters, including managing regulatory visits and implementing recommendations.
- Monitor audit training needs and champion professional development and compliance knowledge.
- Planning and performing on-site audit due diligence visits and following up on post-completion file reviews.
- Setting an example as a hands-on Director.

- A proven track record operating at Audit RI or Audit Senior Manager level within an ICAEW or ACCA registered firm.
- Technically proficient, with extensive UK external audit experience.
- Strong leadership skills with good people management skills.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
- Sound attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and highly organised.
