We are currently recruiting for an experienced Audit Seniorto join a growing accountancy and advisory firm with a strong presence across the UK for their Edinburgh office.

Our client is atop-ten UK accountancy practice and the largest SME-focused practice and this is an excellentopportunityto develop your expertise and work with an industry-diverse client base.

About The Role

As anAudit Senior, you will:

  • Take ownership of your portfolio with the guidance of experienced managers.
  • Contribute to achieving revenue and profitability targets.
  • Build strong and enduring relationships with a range of clients.
  • Execute and complete audit fieldwork, including planned substantive and analytical procedures, often at client premises.
  • Plan and finalise audit assignments with thorough documentation for partner or manager review.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements using client data, identifying potential risk areas and key concerns.
  • Provide support and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their development.

To be considered for the role we would love you to be:

  • ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent.
  • experienced inAuditing clients across various industries, with a solid understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • able to coach and mentor junior staff effectively.
