iMultiply is supporting an Edinburgh-based organization in hiring a Financial Accountant for an initial 12-month contract.
The Interim Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing year-end financial statements and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
Candidates must be qualified accountants (ICAS / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with strong Excel skills and technical accounting knowledge.
Experience in financial services or asset management, along with proven experience in financial/statutory accounting, is required.
The role offers a salary of up to £60,000, and candidates should be immediately available or have a short notice period.

Preparation and review of year-end financial statements
Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards
Review and submission of monthly VAT returns
Preparation of information for annual statutory accounts
Liaising with statutory auditors

Requirements

Qualified Accountant (ICAS / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Strong Excel skills
Strong Technical Accounting Knowledge
Experience of Financial Services or Asset Management
Proven experience in financial / statutory accounting
Immediately available or short notice period
