Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Oversight Analyst to join their team in Edinburgh on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing Net Asset Valuations (NAV) oversight activities and ensuring that robust controls are in place for effective pricing delivery. You will play a key role in monitoring functions outsourced to third-party providers while also engaging in various internal operations. The Operations Team you will be part of, oversees corporate actions, proxy voting, regulatory reporting, and cash monitoring, all while adapting to the evolving operating model of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct NAV oversight activities ensuring effective controls and accurate pricing delivery.
- Manage swing pricing oversight, calculations, and back testing.
- Prepare detailed reports and updates for governance forums.
- Support the trade lifecycle for various investment types including equities and derivatives.
- Monitor cash and manage stock/cash reconciliations.
- Oversee corporate actions and daily fund flow reporting.
- Administer retail and segregated mandates management and reporting.
- Handle complaints and regulatory requirements efficiently.
- Conduct regular oversight checks on outsourced activities.
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and propose solutions.
- Experience in Fund Accounting, Valuations, and Pricing.
- Demonstrable technical knowledge of investment instruments, fund types, and products.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment relevant to the role.
- Experience in producing Management Information and regular reporting.
- IOC qualification is desirable.
