Not only can it provide access to an extremely exciting journey ahead, but this business is renowned for being a top employer throughout the UK which is a testament to it's inclusive, flexible and engaging culture & environment.The RoleThe position of Senior Reporting Accountant (ESG) will join the Group Sustainability function to support with reporting of its portfolio of disclosure requirements. The key components of the role will include:
- Business partnering with various functions and Committees across the business
- Involvement in high profile projects
- Production and presentation of reporting packs & papers
- Technical analysis of the Group’s External ESG Reporting
- Ensuring adherence with CSRD and ISSB standards & requirements
- Reviewing and developing processes, procedures & controls
- Liaising with External Auditors on ESG requirements
On OfferThe role of ESG Accountant will begin as a 6 month fixed term contract, and could be extended if mutually agreeable. The role is based in Edinburgh with excellent hybrid working, but you will be required to be in the office weekly so purely remote applications won’t be considered. The position will also offer:

Candidate ProfileTo be considered for this opportunity, the following experience is required:
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong IFRS experience
- Exposure to TCFD or SFDR would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
