Responsibilities would include
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define physical design requirements and constraints for automotive integrated circuits
- Lead and participate in all aspects of physical design, including floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and power analysis
- Develop and optimize physical design methodologies to improve design quality and performance
- Perform design closure activities to meet performance, power, and area targets
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to project planning and execution
- Proven experience on 7+ successful tapeouts
- MS degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
- Experience working across the full RTL-GDS flow
- Power / IR drop analysis is beneficial but not essential
- Good understanding of timing requirements, clock tree generation
- Experience with DFT insertion techniques
