Job
The role of Cashroom Officer will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Operating in compliance with all relevant regulations including The Law Society of Scotland (LSS), Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and Anti Money Laundering (AML)
- Maintaining firm and client accounts
- Processing CHAPS & BACS transactions
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end procedures
- Daily banking routines and balancing
- Purchase ledger invoice management
- Ensuring that the service needs of the Firm are delivered efficiently and effectively
You
As a Cashroom Officer you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
- Proven experience within a finance role, preferably within a legal environment
- Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of confidentiality
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Relevant qualifications are an advantage
