Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Business Analyst for our client based in Edinburgh. This is a 12 month contract role, based within the clients Product and Business Analysis department and offers a hybrid working approach. You will provide a structured Business Analysis capability, increasing efficiency as part of a cross-functional agile delivery team, with a daily rate up to £445 per day.

Main duties:* Maintain audit trail of decisions, assumptions and outstanding questions* Assist in identifying, evaluating and tracking project benefits to outcomes and objectives* Collaborate with colleagues, such as Product Managers, Service Designers and Registration team.* Support the Lead Business Analyst and Senior Product Manager as required* Identify new processes and customer opportunities* Support the development teams Product and Agile leads in both tactical and strategic work, helping to ensure that the product delivery teams deliver solutions that work for customers and the organisation* Actively participate in the organisations analysis practice, sharing best practice techniques and domain progress* Supporting junior staff with their development and upskilling* Collaborate with business change teams, identifying and eliminating issues that may arise * Work with communication and design professionals to assist in helping to reduce the impact of change* Be confident in engaging with stakeholders, working to established governance forums such a technical design authority* Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers from other domains as and when required* Support the secondary activities as directed by Senior Product Manager, Lead Product Manager and Head of Product* Translate product road map features into well-defined product requirements, including epics, user stories and acceptance test criteria* Elicit and prioritise epics and stories to ensure work focuses on delivering maximum value in alignment with product strategy whilst balancing needs of stakeholders* Manage team backlog and prioritise work based on changing requirements* Oversee all stages of product creation, from initial brief to implementation* Ensure feedback influences on continuous improvement* Liaise with key stakeholders, including end users to agree deliverables and provide updates and assist in ensuring smooth implementation* Promote and demonstrate agile working at a team level

Skills/experience:* Knowledge of Scottish land registration processes* Presenting and conversing on land registration concepts with domain experts* Confident facilitating detailed collaborative workshops with customers and established cross functional teams* Collaborative mindset seeking advice and input from wide range of stakeholders* Working knowledge of Agile approaches in the design and delivery of digital services* Ability to support decision making process through the effective synthesis of of information from a wide range of sources* Experience of synthesising complex information into clear and compelling visual stories* Experience of mapping stakeholders, impact, process and land registration value streams* Excellent collaboration, communication and teamwork skills* Writing of user stories and formal acceptance criteria* Working knowledge of Business Canvas Modelling, Value Proposition Design or Wardley map techniques* Familiarity with working knowledge of digital standards in government* Use of Googles suite of web analytics software* Background in lean UX, six-sigma, system thinking approaches or similar
