**Lead Insight Analyst** (Contract)
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)
Location: Edinburgh/Hybrid (2 days in office)
Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella day rate is available for suitable candidates
Role Profile
We seek an experienced data/insight analyst who is passionate about the role data plays in evidence-based decision-making. You will oversee the analytics agenda within a specific change domain, delivering robust, high-quality, and actionable customer insights. Your ability to translate complex data into practical analytics will be crucial in influencing the direction of change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and interpret complex datasets to derive actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the design of customer-focused change initiatives.
- Create compelling narratives from data that drive evidence-based decision-making.
- Prioritise resources effectively to ensure impactful outcomes.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent understanding of SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of a variety of analytical techniques.
- A proven track record of translating data into compelling stories that resonate with stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of all aspects of financial services.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
- A genuine desire to make a difference!
- Experience with Hadoop, R, or Python for advanced analytics.
- Familiarity with Data Visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Good knowledge of core analytical methods and statistical approaches.
- Experience in predictive modelling.
