4 Day Working Week (no split shifts)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Pastry Sous Chef to join our amazing brigade of 20 chefs at Prestonfield.

This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join our pastry kitchen, to be part of a team committed to showcasing the very best of Scotlands produce and delivering outstanding products across the brand. Along with our Executive Head Chef and Head Pastry Chef, you will play a key role in maintaining and building the propertys already excellent 5 Red Star and 2 AA Rosette reputation.As well as a busy destination restaurant and the normal activities of a five star hotel, Prestonfield has acollection of prestigious private dining rooms and an exciting large-scale events operation.

As an experienced pastry chef, you will play a fundamental role in the development of our range of seasonal and innovative products for the property and events. Your experience working at recognised establishments as part of a fast moving, quality driven, creative team, pushes you to continually strive to keep learning and honing your skills. You are a strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach, you're well organised and punctual with an exceptional eye for detail.
