Client Details

Leading the in-sourcing of the IT function from a number of 3rd party providers, you'll take ownership of the IT estate with a view to building a small team over the medium to long term.

Description

In return for your skills and expertise you'll receive a salary in the region of £60k with benefits including a 10% pension contribution.

The organisation you'll be joining are very well known both locally and internationally for hosting spectacular high profile events with plans to expand to an even wider audience in the coming years. And your IT Management expertise will be integral to these plans.

Profile

To be considered for this role you should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Hands on management of the Microsoft IT estate
  • Ability to manage IT and data security (ISO270001, cyber essentials etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience of cloud technology (Azure etc.)
  • Ability to support applications such as SAGE & other specialist events apps
  • Good project planning and implementation (particularly for events)
  • Ability to develop a long term IT strategy to support the organisations growth plans
  • Excellent communication and people management skills

Job Offer

Due to the nature of the role there will be some hybrid working though you will be expected to be on-site regularly, especially during busy events periods in the summer months therefore a "can do, will do" attitude and the ability to plan effectively for these busy periods is essential.
