Are you looking for an opportunity with a sector driven, technology focused law firm? We currently have an exciting opening for a Business Development Executive to join our office in either Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow, Edinburgh or Bristol.

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a business development team supporting the CMS global Energy, Projects and Construction Practice Group and the Energy and Infrastructure Sectors. These market leading groups work for some of the firm's largest clients and household names on high profile projects, transactions and disputes.

In this role, you can expect to get involved in a variety of work including:

  • Pitching to existing and prospective clients
  • Assisting with Key account management
  • Preparation of marketing materials and communications
  • Preparation of Directory and award submissions
  • Coordination of client events
  • Co-ordination and promotion of thought leadership
  • Maintenance of firms databases

About you

  • Ideally have some previous Marketing & BD experience within a professional services environment and will possess strong written and verbal skills and be confident in dealing with colleagues at all levels.
  • The ability to analyse complex information and be able to pull out and present the key points concisely.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks as needed with excellent attention to detail.
