Salary: Circa 50,000 dependent on experience

I am excited to be actively seeking a passionate Senior Building Surveyor to join a Successful multidisciplined practice in Edinburgh. With three decades of experience their expert team of architects and building surveyors work closely with their clients to deliver exciting and expertly crafted projects across several significant and high-profile projects. Their diverse portfolio covers renovations, restoration, newbuilds, masterplans for projects in the residential and heritage sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Senior Building Surveyor to become a key member of a thriving practice with a rich history. The successful Senior Building Surveyor will have substantial experience working on residential and heritage projects, be chartered and strong knowledge of AutoCAD with experience running jobs.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Senior Building Surveyor:

• Extensive experience as a Building Surveyor in the UK
• Ideally experience at Senior level
• Hold Chartership with RICS
• Experience working on heritage and listed building projects
• RICS Building Conservation accreditation is beneficial
• Strong knowledge of UK Building regulations
• Mentoring junior team members
• Producing project specifications
• Constructing advanced CAD drawings
• Administrating contracts
• Job running/ project lead experience
• Live locally to Edinburgh
