Job Title: Executry Paralegal
Location: Edinburgh (Office-Based)
Working Pattern: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)

Independently manage executry caseloads, providing expert client support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer testate and intestate executries.
- Proactively manage caseloads and provide excellent client service.
- Communicate with executors and third parties.
- Calculate and apply inheritance tax exemptions and reliefs.
- Complete HMRC inheritance tax forms and prepare executry accounts.
- Handle legal rights calculations.
- Maintain accurate records on the document management system.
- Adhere to firm policies.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Relevant legal qualification (Law Society of Scotland Accredited Paralegal preferred).
- Minimum 5 years' executry experience.
- Strong understanding of inheritance tax and legal rights.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail.
