Our client is currently recruiting for an experiencedElectrical Engineerfor a contractual assignment based inEdinburgh, EH16

To ensure the safety, reliability and efficiency of the electrical systems within the hospital.

Available Shifts and Location:

  • Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday- 5 Days A week
  • Location:EH16 4SA
  • Shift Times:08:00-16:00PM
  • Pay Rate:22.41 per hour including holiday pay with the option to accure
  • Pay Frequency:Weekly, every Friday before 5 PM
  • Paid via PAYE only

Qualifications Required:

  • DBS Certificate
  • 18th Edition

Skills and Experience Required:

  • To maintain the electrical systems which will include Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment, including lighting, wiring, and outlets.
  • Installing new electrical systems and equipment, including medical devices, lighting fixtures, and power outlets.
  • Setting up emergency backup systems such as generators and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units.
  • Conducting regular testing and inspections of electrical systems and performing electrical risk assessments to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
  • Responding quickly to power outages or electrical system failures to minimize disruptions
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues in critical systems like life-support machines, ventilators, or diagnostic equipment.
