Your new companyOur client is a very well established, international, and award-winning Legal firm. They are currently looking for an experienced PA to lead the secretarial functions across Scotland. Your new roleThis role can be based out of either the Edinburgh or Glasgow offices, both located within the city centre with travel required across the country. You will be supporting 27 Personal Assistants across 3 offices, implementing best practices and ensuring everything is in order to maximise client service. You will act as the key point of contact between Executive teams, the PAs and Head of Secretarial Services for the UK, liaising with management to comment on continuous improvements and issue resolution to ensure administrative support and resources are aligned with delivering a high quality of services.You will work closely with the PAs in Scotland, hosting one-to-one meetings and performance reviews, ensuring they have appropriate resources to complete their tasks effectively. You will implement their training plans and outline development opportunities, ensuring the correct support is available and training is completed on time. Recruitment and HR activities will also be a key aspect of your new role.An additional aspect of the role is providing PA support to up to 3 partners within the business, delivering high-quality support to the fee earners, ensuring their team and daily plans are well managed to achieve optimal business outcomes. This will include diary and inbox management, travel arrangement, financial and general administration, and project support.You will be working Monday to Friday on a hybrid basis, again, with travel required between offices as and when required. What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated PA and supervisory experience.
  • Experience within the Legal sector or Professional Services is beneficial.
  • A focussed and organised approach to stakeholder management.
  • The ability to enable effective team work.
  • Time management and the ability to handily a varied, fast-paced workload.
  • Communication skills; both verbal and written.
