We're seeking a Finance Manager for a permanent role, offering competitive compensation and benefits.The CompanyThis is an opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing company operating within the financial services industry, headquartered in Edinburgh.The RoleThe chosen candidate will work within the finance department, reporting to the Divisional Director. The successful candidate will be tasked with preparing financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. You will also lead a small team of fund accountants, ensuring clients receive exceptional service.You will be involved in but not limited to the following:

  • Managing a small team of fund accountants, ensuring top-quality client service.
  • Producing quarterly management packs for Fund Managers with detailed commentary.
  • Preparing statutory accounts for Trusts, Small Limited Companies, and LLPs, ensuring accurate disclosures.
  • Preparing and submitting indirect tax returns.
  • Calculating fund drawdowns, equalization, and distributions, while partnering with investors on all related matters.
  • Partnering with clients to drive continuous improvements and challenging when necessary.
  • Handling other ad hoc duties as required.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must have the following:

  • Qualified Accountant.
  • 2 + years post qualified experience
  • Demonstrated proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with equity funds or fund accounting.
  • Proficiency in essential IT tools, with advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • The ability to command respect and build productive relationships across all levels of the organization.

On OfferThe role will offer a competitive full time equivalent salary of between £55,000 - £60,000.
