Robert Half are supporting a tech business with offices in central Edinburgh city location, to appoint a Finance Manager. This is a growing company with innovative approach to the work that they do.

The role of Finance Manager is a very hands-on position, where you will be involved in all aspects of the finance department. You will be reporting to the Financial Controller.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Budgeting and forecasting, cash flow planning
  • Analysing financial trends and variances
  • Managing the purchase ledger
  • Compiling monthly payroll and monthly returns to pension providers.
  • Supporting with the financial strategy
  • Ensuring audit, tax, and financial regulations are met
  • Implementing and managing financial systems

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or other relevant)
  • Solid understanding of financial regulations and standards
  • A good communicator with leadership skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficient in financial software
  • A strategic thinker with problem solving skills

On offer

This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000-£65,000 per annum plus bonus, pension, health insurance, and life insurance.

Hybrid work (3 days on-site in Edinburgh, 2 days from home) and flexi working are on offer.

The office is based in central Edinburgh with good transport links.
