As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial advisors and providing exceptional service to their portfolio of valued clients.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with financial advisors to develop comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies for clients.
  • Conduct research and analysis on various financial products, including pensions, investments, and insurance.
  • Prepare accurate and compliant suitability reports and financial planning documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of client meetings, including gathering the necessary information and producing reports.
  • Monitor and review client portfolios to ensure they remain aligned with the client’s financial goals.
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice.
Background:
  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner or similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning concepts, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in using financial planning software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and compliant documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with advisors and clients.
  • Relevant certifications such as Diploma in Financial Planning or Certificate in Paraplanning would be advantageous.
