1st/2nd Line Support - Near Edinburgh (Hybrid) - To 32K plus Bonus

Lorien's long-standing, successful and expanding client, with offices very commutable from Edinburgh and the surrounding regions, is looking to recruit a 1st and 2nd Line Support / Helpdesk professional to join their team.

You'll be part of a squad putting their skills to good use contributing towards the success of a firm who have already improved the lives of millions around the globe already. The successful individual will take the reins tackling 1st and 2nd line queries, fulfil a range of support duties for users (some of which are detailed below), and enjoy working for an organisation giving something back to the world.

An outline of some of the duties involved:

  • Offering first and second line support to staff across the organisation
  • Attending to queries both remotely and on-site
  • Ensuring device/cloud services/software related tickets are prioritised and resolved effectively and professionally
  • Installing software/upgrades remotely and contributing to service migrations
  • Building/Setting up/Configuring hardware

The skills/knowledge they're looking for:

  • A background in 1st and 2nd line / Service Desk / Helpdesk support
  • A confident individual, able to work with personnel at any level across the business
  • Knowledge and skills across relevant tooling and areas including: Office 365 / Microsoft 365, PC Hardware, Teams/SharePoint, IT Service Management processes/procedures, Windows OS and Mobile iOS
