  • At SGN, the Head of Fleet position requires an innovative and experienced Fleet professional with expertise in fleet costs, budgets, vehicle engineering, maintenance, and repair. The position also requires expertise in project and resource planning, excellent communication, and contract management skills.

At SGN, we are excited to open this opportunity for a strategic leader to take the helm of our Fleet team!

This role is ideal for an innovative and experienced Fleet professional, who wants to drive strategic initiatives, optimise our vehicle operations, and make a significant impact on our business. As the Head of Fleet, you will be a leader in our Operational Support function, ensuring our commercial vehicle and company car fleets are well-maintained, cost-efficient, and legally compliant.

  • Lead our Fleet team, ensuring all commercial vehicles and company cars are legally compliant, well-maintained, and cost-efficient.
  • Develop and implement innovative fleet strategies, including introducing new technologies, cost-saving initiatives, and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders across SHE, HR, Finance, Operations, and suppliers to align fleet policies with business objectives and reduce operational costs.
  • Manage fleet budgets with precision, conducting regular reviews and forecasting to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Ensure all SGN vehicles and drivers meet the highest safety and legal standards, committing to compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Oversee third-party service providers, ensuring they meet or exceed performance standards through robust improvement plans and regular reviews.
  • Implement initiatives to reduce road risks, working with accident management providers and insurers to minimise motor claims and accidents.
