Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with an outstanding firm in the legal sector who are looking to hire a legal cashier on a full-time permanent basis. Candidates with previous experience in the sector are preferred however this is not an essential requirement as full training will be provided.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Access, monitor, and use various electronic banking systems.
  • Capture details of receipts into bank accounts, investigate and allocate them appropriately.
  • Post bank receipts onto our systems to the relevant client file/invoice/location.
  • Monitor the central mailbox for requests and queries, responding in a timely manner.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and obtaining credit card payments.
  • Handle client funds in accordance with the SRA Rules.
  • Assist with auditor queries and process transfers between client and business accounts.
  • Perform ad hoc duties such as document management and retention.

Required Skills & Qualifications:.

  • Excellent numerical and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of transactions and work to strict deadlines under occasional pressure.
  • Commitment to delivering work to a high standard.
  • Flexible mindset to adapt to changes in the working environment and approach
