Three Bridges Recruitment are partnering with a renowned legal firm in Edinburgh. They are for a Legal Cashier for their Edinburgh office. This role is an ideal role for a Cashroom Assistant or Finance Assistant with experience in the legal sector that is looking for a new exciting role that offers the chance to develop and enhance your skills.

Job

The role of Legal Cashier will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Managing and utilizing various electronic banking systems to ensure efficient financial operations
  • Recording and investigating receipt details, allocating them to relevant client files and invoices
  • Updating our systems with bank receipts, ensuring accurate and timely posting to client accounts
  • Responding to requests and queries via the central mailbox, providing prompt and effective support
  • Supporting bank reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Processing credit card payments and handling client funds in accordance with SRA Rules
  • Collaborating with auditors to address queries and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Executing transfers between client and business accounts, maintaining accurate records

You

As a Legal Cashier you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Proficiency in legal accounting systems, preferably Elite 3E, with strong Excel skills to drive efficient financial management
  • Experience with internet banking portals, enabling seamless online transactions
  • Strong numerical and communication skills, with the ability to accurately process and effectively communicate financial information
  • Proven ability to handle high volumes of transactions, prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet deadlines
  • Resilience and adaptability to work under pressure, meeting strict deadlines and delivering high-quality results
