Junior Legal PA – Edinburgh

An international law firm is keen to bring in a Junior Legal PA to join its friendly, close-knit Finance & Projects team in Edinburgh. A terrific opportunity for somebody keen on working in a professional administrative environment with a clear progression structure!

Some of the day-to-day tasks & responsibilities:

  • Understands and assists with the billing process and associate financial management tasks
  • Engages with fee earners to understand and assist in general financial housekeeping
  • Manages fee earners administrative processes, utilising appropriate resource
  • Develops understanding of matter management processes, gradually increasing level of responsibility and risk management awareness
  • Focuses on the firm's risk and compliance policies and procedures and raises any issues or queries promptly with the relevant Partner and/or Risk and Compliance
  • Successfully completes all firm training
  • Develops skillset in order to support fee earners with their business development activity
  • Builds rapport and develops effective working relationships with fee earner teams

Do you have what it takes to be successful?

  • One year experience gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level 
  • Existing experience administrative experience
