IT Service Desk AnalystEdinburgh/Hybrid£25,000 - £30,000

As an IT Service Desk Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the firm's IT systems run smoothly, enabling staff to deliver exceptional service to clients. You'll provide technical support across software, hardware, and networks, ensuring quick and effective solutions to keep the business moving.

Day-to-Day:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line remote and hands-on support.
  • Log and manage incidents and service requests via the ticketing system.
  • Provide technical support for Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Resolve Wi-Fi and networking issues and assist with Intune and device management.
  • Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT colleagues or external vendors as needed.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation and contribute to a central knowledge base.
  • Support internal IT projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Tech Requirements:

  • Experience in an IT support role, ideally in a service desk environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, networking, and hardware.
  • Proficiency with Intune, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and remote support tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
  • A proactive, user-focused approach with attention to detail.
