Sanderson have been asked by one of Scotland's leading brand names to help them recruit an IT Support Engineer to work on a hybrid basis from their operation in central Edinburgh.

The chosen candidate will need to be seen as the first point of contact for their colleagues when it comes to solving any IT issues so will need to have a background in 1st & 2nd line support duties ideally and be comfortable across a variety of technologies.

Preferably you will have a mix of the following; Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Office 355, networking knowledge and Linux. There will be the opportunity to learn if you do not have all of these.

Coupled with this you will need to be able to work across a variety of areas of the internal business and external suppliers and be comfortable helping both technical and non-technical people.

As well as a wide range of diverse and different day to day tasks you will also be asked to take part in ad-hoc project work as and when required.
