Description
- Develop, maintain, and monitor production plans to meet demand
- Coordinate with production, scheduling, suppliers as required to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Analyse and report on supply chain performance and implement improvements as needed
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise within supply chain planning.
- Play an active role in inventory management and control
- Work with Procurement to ensure the best suppliers are secured.
- Contribute to the development of supply chain strategies.
- Adhere to all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Profile
A successful 'Production Planner' should have:
- Ideally a relevant qualification with Supply Chain.
- Proven understanding in a production planning role within the FMCG industry
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills
