Your new companyYou will be joining a reputable law firm located in Edinburgh City Centre.Your new roleAs a Legal Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing PA, administrative and secretarial support to a small group of fee earners. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing monthly billing processes and payment of invoices
  • Complex diary and mailbox management
  • Drafting and proofreading important legal documents
  • Booking of travel and other commitments, and organising catering and equipment
  • Assisting with meetings and writing of minutes
  • Being a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing the invoicing process (queries, sending of invoices and arranging purchase orders)
  • Handling expenses
  • General administrative tasks (filing, scanning, paper storage, organising etc.)

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a similar role (legal PA experience is desirable)
  • Adaptable and capable of grasping new legal systems
  • A proactive individual who is happy to go the extra mile for their team and fee earners
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
