In this key role, you will work closely with our client’spayroll bureauand widerFinance andHR teams. You will be responsible for the accuratepreparationand processing of reports,ensuring payroll data is checked and processed correctly.

Job

The role of PayrollAdviserwill give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

•Accurately overseeing the monthly payroll process, ensuring compliance with all necessary approval procedures.

•Managing the relationship with the external payroll provider by scheduling regular review meetings, providing constructive feedback, and escalating issues to the HR Director when required.

•Preparing and delivering monthly payroll reports to the Finance team.

•Maintaining and promptly updating all payroll records.

•Revising payroll procedures as necessary and communicating process changes to HR and Finance teams.

•Keeping standardized documentation for audit compliance to minimize risks.

•Accurately documenting and processing statutory payments in line with legislative requirements.

•Acting as the primary liaison between the Finance and HR departments for payroll and budget monitoring.

•Producing and sharing monthly payroll budget versus actual cost analysis reports with the Finance Team, ensuring all staffing changes are recorded.

You

As a PayrollAdviseryou will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

•In-depth knowledge of payroll management, including tax, pension, SSP, SMP procedures, and relevant legislation.

•Significant experience in payroll, ideally supported by a relevant qualification (not mandatory).

•Advanced proficiency in IT, particularly in Excel and formula creation.

•Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines effectively.

•A positive, adaptable approach with a commitment to maintaining high standards in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
