Communications Officer - 6 month contract - Up to £400 a day Inside IR35 Edinburgh

Loriens leading public sector client are looking to bring on a Communications Officer on a 6 month contract. Please note - the position is based in Edinburgh and operates on a hybrid orking model (2x week in office)Essential skill set:

-Ability to create and develop high-quality content that aligns to the project and service communications strategies.

-Ability to plan, develop and update project SharePoint and website presences.

-To be able to define calendar milestones, planning activity and scheduling content.

-To be able to Analyse and report on data and insights relating to their digital channels.

-Ability to lead on the co-ordination and planning for project User Groups meetings and activities.

-To provide administrative support, such as preparing reports, project communications paperwork, award entries, engagement events.

-To have a portfolio of excellent written communication in a range of media including assessing and reporting on impact and reach. ?

-To have confidence in working with multiple and changing priorities in a flexible way.?

-to have a good working knowledge of Office 365 and SharePoint or web-editing software.

-Experience of using social media?e.g.?Twitter, blogs etc.?

-A knowledge of data protection and accessibility issues around print and electronic communications.
