Project Manager - Public Sector (Holiday Hub Provision)Location: Edinburgh City CentrePay Rate: £23.56 per hourHours: 36 hours per week (Mon-Fri)Contract Length: 8 weeksStart Date: ImmediatePertemps Scotland is currently recruiting an experienced Project Manager on behalf of a valued public sector client based in central Edinburgh.This short-term contract is an exciting opportunity to lead on the coordination and development of Holiday Hub services across the city. You'll play a key role in shaping sustainable, inclusive provision for children and young people with Additional Support Needs (ASN), supporting community engagement and future planning.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of Holiday Hub provision across the organisation.
  • Build partnerships with internal teams, parents/carers, third sector partners and external contractors.
  • Develop strategies, referral pathways, communication plans, and evaluation tools.
  • Provide expert guidance to senior officers and elected members.
  • Identify funding opportunities and support income generation for long-term sustainability.
  • Monitor project progress, report on outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Strong understanding of the third sector and working with children with ASN.
  • Proven experience in project management, strategy development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple priorities and partners.
  • Knowledge of relevant local and national policies.
  • Driving license is desirable as may have to travel between locations
