Three Bridges Recruitment has partnered with a professional services organisation, based in Edinburgh, with a renowned reputation in the industry. They are looking for a Senior Legal Cashier on a full-time permanent basis.

You will provide supervisory support and guidance to a small team of legal cashiers and offer assistance to the head cashier, ensuring a high level of departmental service is provided.

Job

The role of Senior Legal Cashier will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Leading and overseeing a small team of Cashroom staff
  • Serving as Deputy to the Head Cashier, taking charge when necessary
  • Training, mentoring, and supervising the Cashroom team to ensure high performance
  • Ensuring adherence to the Law Society of Scotland and SRA Accounts Rules
  • Managing and updating data within the firm’s Practice Management System
  • Providing audit evidence and ensuring compliance in handling client funds
  • Proactively identifying and managing risks, with regular reporting
  • Creating and documenting efficient processes and procedures
  • Promoting efficiencies and driving continuous improvement within the team

You

As a Senior Legal Cashier you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Extensive experience in a legal Cashroom setting
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Strong expertise in financial systems and data reconciliation
  • Proficient in using Practice Management Systems
  • In-depth knowledge of Law Society of Scotland and SRA Accounts Rules
  • Exceptional organisational and staff management capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously and navigate complex challenges
  • Strong sense of professional responsibility and integrity
