Care Coordinator
Location: Edinburgh, EH6 4DD. The role may require occasional travel to service user or other company locations.
Salary: £26,676 - £28,995 per annum dependent on experience.
Contract: Full time, permanent.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an efficient, organised and experienced Care Coordinator to join our team full-time. As our Care Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth, reliable care delivery. You will work closely with care staff and clients to uphold our commitment to quality, compassion and dignity.
Care Coordinator – Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage carer rotas to ensure all client visits are covered and schedules run efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain high-quality care standards, ensuring compliance with health, safety and care regulations including in-house training
• Build strong relationships with care staff, providing support and guidance to foster a reliable team including conducting supervision, Appraisals and Probation meeting.
• Liaise with clients and families to align care plans and promptly address changes or concerns.
• Provide written reports of all complaints, accidents, incidents, and untoward events in accordance with our policies.
• Take an active role and contribute towards recruitment.
• Handle last-minute scheduling changes or emergencies calmly and effectively, minimising disruption to care.
What we need from you:
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in care co-ordination within a community or home care setting.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail in managing rotas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring, professional attitude.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills to motivate staff and uphold high standards.
• Knowledge of care regulations and a commitment to compassionate, person-centred care.
• Proficiency with scheduling systems and excellent IT skills and competency in Microsoft Office.
• Have an awareness of Rostering Systems and Scheduling Processes used within the Health and Social Care Sector
• SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
• Full Driving UK Licence and access to a car
This role is subject to PVG Scheme Membership, SSSC Registration and 2 traceable satisfactory references.
