Team Leader Learning Disability & Neurodiversity

Contract: Permanent Full time

Salary:£29,093.47 per annum

21 HSC are looking to recruit a Team Leader for aLearning Disability & Neurodiversity service for a large Edinburgh based charity. The role will involve shift work which includes some weekend working.

Role and Responsibilities:
Provide management cover in any of our services for periods of time
Apply your knowledge of best practice, codes of practice and current regulations in the social care sector and ensure the provision of a high quality and socially inclusive service
Manage support plans and contribute to support reviews alongside Service Managers
Work with Service Managers on service referrals and staff interviewing & selection procedures
Assist in monitoring the services progress against an agreed business plan including evaluating work and implementing changes to improve results
Develop, implement and monitor action plans for any team-led changes or external recommendations from the Care Inspectorate, Quality Assurance or Business Assurance;
Contribute, in consultation with the Service Manager and the with YOU Finance team, each years budget and ensure the financial targets are met;
Develop constructive relationships with national and local statutory, voluntary and community agencies to ensure appropriate resources, support and understanding of the service;

Deputise for the Service Manager, assuming the responsibilities in their absence.

Qualifications and Experience:

You must have minimum of 1 year experience working at a Senior level within anLearning Disability and Neurodiversity service.

You must be qualified to the level required by the SSSC foras a manager in housing support services and care at home servicesor willingness to work towards and to successfully complete qualification within the SSSC specified timeframe.
