Hybrid Working -Edinburgh / Local - 1-2 days a week on site.Financial Services.Lorien's Banking Client are currently looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join an expanding team on an initial 6-month contract.This role is ideal for someone who is well experienced in working with Automated Infrastructure.This role is based ideally in Edinburgh,Working in a Hybrid Model of 1-2 days a week on site. Key Skills and Experience

  • Experienced in, and comes from a Financial Services Background.
  • Build and maintain automated infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms, automation tools, and system operations, contributing to faster and more reliable delivery of software applications.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity or GitLab.
  • Optimise and improve pipeline performance for faster and more efficient delivery.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions (e.g. CloudWatch, Splunk) to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues in pipeline and cloud infrastructure, resolving them quickly.
  • Ensure security best practices are embedded throughout the CI/CD pipeline and cloud infrastructure.
  • Understanding of networking and security best practices in a cloud environment.
