Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software engineer for our public sector client based in Edinburgh on an initial 6 month contract paying up to £685 per day inside IR35.

This role allows remote working, with an expectation of attending the office 4 days per month.

Security Clearance (SC) is required for this role.

The role is to develop a site information metadata collection application with offline synchronisation features.

The successful candidate will possess proven skills working with the following -

- Desktop Applications

- Python

- PyQt or PySide

- Oracle, ORM

- Offline-first application design, data synchronisation

- Windows application development, touch-screen interface

- Tool integration - graphical viewers, voice recorders,
