Software Developer - 6 months Outside IR35 480 a day - Edinburgh/Hybrid

Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a prestigious public sector organisation, who is looking to recruit a Software Developer (Mapping) for a minimum 6-month period, this role can be based anywhere with occasional visits to Edinburgh.

You will receive a daily rate of around 480 a day and the contract will see you OUTSIDE IR35.

You will work with the Mapping Development team to support the development of new spatial mapping tools, enhance the performance and reliability of existing mapping products and develop new services to simplify the current geospatial estate.

I would love to hear from developers with Geospatial Software experience in an agile environment and skills including:

  • Technology such as GIS, Geoserver, Java 11+, Spring Boot microservices, Jenkins, PostgreSQL/PostGIS and using a service-based and serverless architecture.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills Cloud database monitoring, telemetry, intelligence tools and processes
  • Delivering high quality software in high-performing, cross-functional development teams.
  • Designing and implementing technical solutions for software development projects.
