Receptionist - Part-Time Mornings
Central Edinburgh-based | fully office-based role
Monday to Friday | 8:00am to 1:00pm | 25 hours per week
Temp role for at least one month | potential for extension
Tuesday 22nd April start
Pay rate of 13.67 per hour + holiday pay
Search Consultancy are currently working with a well-known business in Central Edinburgh to recruit for a Receptionist to cover mornings in the office. If candidates can be flexible to pick up occasional afternoon hours also this would be advantageous, but not essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive Reception & Administration cover each weekday morning, 5 days per week, on-site in their Central Edinburgh based office.
Duties involved in this role will include:
* Dealing with incoming calls & visitors to the office
* Acting as liaison point for staff and visitors who have enquiries, issues or require assistance
* Maintaining up to date records of departmental employees contact detail
* Acting as an initial point of contact on H&S issues that may impact the safe operation of the building
* Monitoring the cleanliness and safety of the public areas of the building
* Responsibility for opening up the building at the beginning of each day
* Providing assistance to the wider Facilities team where required
* Various other ad hoc Reception & Administration duties as directed
In order to be considered for this role, your skills & experience should include:
* Previous experience in a Reception role providing a first class customer & visitor service - this experience is ESSENTIAL
* Solid IT skills including the use of MS Office
* Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Self-motivated and able to work well within a team
