Who We're Looking For:We seek a dynamic UX Designer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to take full ownership of their design output. You'll confidently present your work to stakeholders and adapt your designs based on their feedback, as well as insights from user research and usability testing.
About the Role:In this exciting position, you'll get to:
- Craft User Experiences: Skillfully design end-to-end user journeys, utilising components from a central design system to create a seamless blend of content and UI elements.
- Bring Designs to Life: Use prototyping software like Sketch, InVision, Figma, Axure, or Adobe XD to translate your concepts into engaging prototypes.
- Balance Needs: Gather user research and align stakeholders on user requirements, knowing when to diplomatically advocate for the customer's best interests.
- Adapt and Guide: Navigate technical constraints across platforms while providing insights on achieving optimal user experiences.
- Champion Inclusivity: Advocate for accessible design that caters to a diverse range of customers, regardless of age, background, or technical ability.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Demonstrable background in User Experience or Interaction Design, with strong ownership of design projects.
- Prototyping Skills: Excellent skills in prototyping and layout, with the ability to articulate your vision to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Design Systems: Familiarity with existing design systems and a proactive approach to enhancing them for project benefits.
- Research Interpretation: Ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative research and apply findings to inform your design process.
- Financial Services Insight: Experience in complex landscapes, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Collaborative Spirit: A team player who works closely and efficiently with a multi-disciplinary group.
- Delivery Focus: Strong commitment to seeing designs through to delivery, ensuring they meet specifications for diverse user groups.
- Inclusivity Advocate: A passion for customer inclusivity and accessibility in design.
